Actually it’s because you are more used to seeing your face in the mirror (reflected). As all faces are slightly asymmetrical it looks different when you see yourself in a photo because your face is unreflected.
Other people always see your face as you see it in photos, so they’re used to it looking that way. This explains why your friends think you look better in photos...

Noel Fielding is not funny.
Apart from the odd quipp on Buzzcocks (such as his constant dismantling of mega-twat Dappy from N-Dubz) & sometimes in his interviews, I have never found him funny & never will. His new show on channel 4 is bloody awful. So he dresses up like a tit, puts an accent on & says random shit like he’s vomiting a thesaurus…& that’s supposed to make me laugh?

The Ace Attorney live-action film is out in...
Damn, Takashi Miike & his crew works fast! From what I’ve seen the film looks extremely promising & VERY true to the game (although, why does the Judge have hair? WRONGWRONGWRONG). Simply can’t wait till I can see it.
Until then, I plead with Capcom to localize Ace Attorney Investigations 2. Please.
